Peterborough Marina in Peterborough, ON

Day #382: From last night Mike beat me at cribbage. Mike and I were up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, grapefruit and cookies. Heat warning in effect for Peterborough, ON. sunny and warm morning. At 8:00 A.M. Mike and I worked on paperwork navigation, blogging and condo association business before heading out for a walkabout in Peterborough. At 9:45 A.M. the two of us headed to the to the Canadian Canoe Museum. We enjoyed the museum and air conditioning. The two of us then headed back to the boat to have lunch and grab the backpack. Mike and I headed to No Frills grocery store and The Beer Store for a few items. We headed back and it was 86 degrees (feel like temperature of 95 degrees). The two of us headed up to the flying bridge to read and catch what breeze there was during the afternoon hours. Jim from "Knights Kingdom" stopped by for a chat. He had mentioned that a group of loopers were going to head to dinner and invited the two of us to attend. Mike and I started preparing for dinner at 4:30 P.M. at 5:00 P.M. Jax/Russ ("Cat and Dogs"), Steve/Cathy ("United 771"), Jim/Justine ("Knights Kingdom") and Mike/I ("Parrot Bay") headed to dinner at One Eighty where the group had a great dinner and talked about looping experiences. The eight of us headed back to the marina at 7:00 P.M. where the concert festivities were ramping up.  Mike and I opted to headed back to the boat sitting on the flying bridge to listen to the concert that started at 8:00 P.M.  The band "Virginia to Vegas" played music that was not familiar to Mike and I. At 8:30 P.M. the two of us decided to prepare for bed getting ready to listen to Jimmy Buffet at a live concert from Wisconsin. I beat Mike at cribbage before the two of us started reading books eventually heading to bed. The plan is for one more day in Peterborough before heading out Monday morning.
