Summit North Marina in Bear, Delaware

Day #341: From last evening Mike beat me at cribbage. At 1:30 A.M. the bilge alarm sounded three times in a row Mike and I were out of bed.  A different water pump hose popped off so I shut off the water and water heater button.  Mike and I were up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, grapefruit and chocolate chip cookies (massive cookies). Beautiful sunny day with temperature low 80's but windy. The two of us worked on boat jobs all morning while the sun was shining. Mike fixed the water pump hoses; I worked on laundry, Mike and I used Plexus on the windows on the flying bridge; Mike secured the dinghy ready for Delaware Bay crossing; I worked on moving marina reservation and sent mail to Cape May, NJ and Mike cut his hair. Lots of little jobs that needed to be completed.  After lunch a few more jobs were completed. At 1:00 P.M. Mike and I went to the pool where we read books but it clouded up so it was a bit cool to frolic in pool. At 2:00 P.M. the two us headed back to the boat to have happy hour on the flying bridge. The wind continued to build and it remained cloudy. At 4:30 P.M. there were a few sprinkles so we closed up the flying bridge in preparation for rain overnight and into Monday.  Mike and I facetimed with Mom and Dad Burdo. Mike talked to Mark as he was headed into work. It was then time for blogging, reading and the completion of Sunday night phone calls. The plan is for us to stay at Summit North Marina until Wednesday as there are thunderstorms and high winds predicated for Monday and Tuesday.
