Day #326: From last evening I beat Mike at cribbage. Mike was up at 6:00 A.M. breakfast was served at 6:30 A.M. coffee, grapefruit, lemon poppy seed muffin, cookies with the local news. The plan still is to move on Memorial Day to Belhaven, North Carolina. The winds are to pick up later today into Sunday with hot temperatures predicated all week. Mike worked on some weather links that we were given at the informational talk in Southport. I worked on laundry only $1.00 to wash and $1.00 to dry. The two of us are planning on another day at the pool to beat the heat. At 9:30 A.M. the two of us headed to the pool picking a cabana to sit under to get out of the direct sun. We read books until 11:30 A.M. when they decided to have lunch ordered from the Yawl Café and delivered to the cabana. The pool was extremely busy looking like a Memorial Day weekend. Around 1:00 P.M. the people in the pool decreased so Mike and I spent time in the pool cooling off. At 4:00 P.M. the two of us headed back to the boat to have happy hour on the flying bridge the temperature was 81 degrees with a warm breeze. At 5:30 P.M. we settled in for the night on the boat blogging and reading. Mike and I reviewed the weather reports deciding to keep with the plan of leaving on Monday heading for Belhaven. Tomorrow starts the heat wave temperatures in the 90's with heat indices of 102-105 degrees.
