Day #305: Mike and I were up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, mini lemon poppy seed muffins and mini cookies. There is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon into Sunday afternoon but we are hoping that it is like yesterday when we didn't get any rain or storms. Saturday was paperwork day; condo association, navigation along with boat jobs in preparation for 5 days of travel this week. After completing our jobs on the boat at 12:30 P.M. Mike and I headed to the restaurant next door to the marina called Morgan Creek Grill that has an upstairs with a beautiful view of the intercoastal waterway and Isle of Palms. The two of us both had fried shrimp, french fries and cole slaw. Mike and I could watch the "Parrot Bay" as boats from the boat ramp kept parking behind the "Parrot Bay" in her slip. We were fine with this but were concerned about boats hitting our dinghy. After a great lunch Mike and I headed back to "Parrot Bay" for happy hour on the flying bridge. The afternoon for us was filled with watching hundreds of boats coming in and out of the launch ramp. During the afternoon Mike and I had a boat tied up behind the "Parrot Bay" and the dockmaster came out informing the owner of the boat that he needed to move the boat as it was in our slip. The owner was visibly angry. Later in the afternoon Mike and I had two other boats park behind the "Parrot Bay" and the boat that had been told to move came back to the launch ramp he stormed by the "Parrot Bay" heading to talk to the harbormaster. Shortly, later one of the dock kids came to the ramp to make sure that no boats were docking in the "Parrot Bay's" slip. Even with the dock kid there boats would park behind the "Parrot Bay". We watched the chaos for the afternoon. Finally at 5:30 P.M. the two of us settled in for blogging and reading. The plan is to travel to Georgetown, SC on Sunday, weather dependent. There are suppose to be thunderstorms for Charleston this evening and Sunday but Mike and I haven't seen any rain yet.
