Isle of Palms Marina, Isle of Palms, South Carolina

Day #304: From last evening I beat Mike at cribbage. The two of us were up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, cookies and grapefruit. The two watched the local weather which was predicting scattered thunderstorms today. No rain in the morning it was partly sunny, humid and 72 degrees. At 8:30 A.M I got the two an Uber for a trip to Patriots Point. We started touring the USS Yorktown at 9:30 A.M. At 11:30 P.M. the two of us had toured most of the "USS Yorktown" but still had a bit more to go but the we had lunch at The Fighting Lady Café. After lunch the two of us watched a 20 minute video on the "USS Yorktown". At 12:30 P.M. it was time for we to board the "Spirit of Charleston" for a trip over to Fort Sumter. We toured the fort, museum and gift shop before re-boarding for the trip back to Patriot Point. Upon returning to Patriot Point the two of us visited the gift shop were Mike purchased a book on the USS Yorktown. We finished their tour of "USS Yorktown". Mike then toured the submarine "USS Clamagore" (I learned long ago that submarines are not my thing as the quarters are too close). At 4:37 P.M. the two of us took an Uber back to the marina. It was time for happy hour on the flying bridge for us while we watched people at the boat launch picking up their boats and launching their boats (there is always a bit of entertainment). At 6:30 P.M. it was time for reading and blogging for the two of us as we wait for a bit of rain.
