Cocoa Village Marina in Cocoa, FL
Day #285: Mike and I up at 6:45 A.M. for coffee, grapefruit, cookies and lemon poppy seed muffins. At 8:30 A.M. Mike ("Dash Away"), Mike and I took Uber to Publix for re-provisioning. After putting groceries away I confirmed our reservation at New Smyrna Beach for tomorrow. I made reservations at Amelia Island Marina for Monday, April 22nd for one evening. Mike and I worked on a few boat jobs. At 1:15 P.M. Ken and Evelyn who Mike and I had met cruising in the Great Lakes on Lake Huron came to visit from New Smyrna Beach. The four sat on the well deck of "Parrot Bay" catching up. Ken and Evelyn offered to take Mike and I to the Ron Jon Surf Shop at Cocoa Beach. The store is open 24 hours and it is huge, almost overwhelming. Mike and I bought a few fun items. After Ron Jon Surf Shop, Ken and Evelyn took Mike and Patty to the Exploration Tower in Cape Canaveral where the four saw two Carnival cruise ships leaving. After exploring the Exploration Tower the four headed out to dinner at Grills Seafood-Deck & Tiki Bar. The four had a great dinner all having mahi-mahi which was great. Ken and Evelyn dropped the two of us off at the marina before heading back to New Smyrna Beach. Mike and I talked to Mike from "Dash Away" discussing planning for leaving in the morning for New Smyrna Beach. It was time for Sunday night family phone calls.
