Cocoa Village Marina in Cocoa, FL
Day #284: Happy Anniversary to the two of us. From last evening Mike beat me at cribbage. Sunny, breezy and 86 degrees predicted for today (HOT HOT HOT 🌶). The two of us were up at 6:45 A.M. for coffee, grapefruit, cookies and mini lemon poppy seed muffins. During the morning hours it was time to do some navigation planning. We decided to take a walk to the historic district of Cocoa Village to see some of the quaint artsy shops. Mike bought a wooden tiki man and tiki man koozie. The two of us headed back to the boat for a small snack since they were going to be heading for an anniversary lunch/early dinner. After a few boat jobs the two headed to Murdock's Southern Bistro for our anniversary dinner. We both had a great meal. Mike and I then headed to the Pirate Store just down from Murdock's. It was a great store (Mike made it out of the store without buying anything). The two headed back to the boat for happy hour on the flying bridge where there was a great breeze. Bill from "First Forty" stopped by inviting the two of us for docktails at 5:00 P.M. up by the marina office. At 5:00 P.M. the two of us headed to docktails with "Dash Away", "First Forty", "Wild Goose", "Forever Friday", "Chrysalis", "Myra-Marie" and "Cha Cha". At 7:00 P.M. docktails ended Mike and I headed back the "Parrot Bay" for blogging/navigation planning before reading and a quiet evening.
