Day #214: From last evening Mike and I played cribbage-Mike won. Up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, mini lemon poppy seed muffins, grapefruit and cookies. Larry from "Camelot" talked to Mike inviting Mike and I to join Sheryl and him for a boat ride on their center console run-about boat. Larry told Mike that they would pick the two of us up around 10-ish. At 10:15 A.M. Larry and Sheryl picked us up at the gas dock at Aquamarina. The four headed toward Boca Grande where there is a pass that heads out into the Gulf of Mexico. The four stopped on the beach at Boca Grande walking down the beach collecting shells. After the four headed into the Gulf of Mexico where the water was beautiful blue and flat calm. Larry, Sheryl, Mike and I headed toward Don Pedro State Park where they floated in the Gulf. Larry and Mike both jumped into the ocean where the water temperature was 60.8 degrees. The four saw dolphins. After floating for a bit in the Gulf they headed to Manasota Key to The White Elephant for lunch. After lunch the four took the boat back to the marina where Larry and Sheryl keep the boat in rack storage. Larry and Sheryl took Mike and I for a ride past their home in Englewood. When we returned to the boat we headed to the pool where Larry and Sheryl joined us. Both Larry and Mike swam in the pool for a bit. At 5:25 P.M. it was time for the four to head back to their boats for the evening. Mike and I did some boat jobs. At 6:16 P.M. it was time for some quiet time for Mike and myself blogging and reading. I made beer dip in preparation for Sunday's Super Bowl Party at the marina.

While Mike was contemplating, Larry to our surprise jumped into the water. |
Look at that form. We will give him a "10". |
Larry and Mike both had the same look on their faces when they surfaced in the 60.8 degree water. |
Little bit of sunscreen and salt water in Mike's eyes. Don Pedro from the Gulf of Mexico. The sand is so white from the water. |
