Aquamarina Palm Harbour Marina in Cape Haze, Florida

Day #215: From last night Mike won one game of cribbage Up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, cookies, poptarts and grapefruit. Mike and I walked up to the Publix and ACE Hardware for a few items. I made beer dip for the Super Bowl Party. We have been noticing a foul smell at times in the v-berth. Last night Mike looked into the problem which he determined was stagnant water near the old black water tank. Mike and I were extremely happy that it was only stagnant bilge water and not a breach in the old black water tank. Mike was able to sop up all of the water out of the very small space. He determined that it was water from the anchor locker which had gotten to the lowest part of the bilge and didn't get pumped out as we have not been moving the boat. After Mike removed the water and then bleached the area. Mike and I were very pleased with the much improved smell. After the stinky job was completed the two headed to the pool for the afternoon. Ed and Kyle joined us at the pool. At 4:15 P.M. it was time for us to get ready for the Super Bowl Party in addition to the beer dip, Mike made two batches of popcorn. At 5:00 P.M. we joined the liveaboard community at the marina for potluck of appetizers and
hor d'oeuvres. At 6:30 P.M. it was time for the group to watch the game.  There were two game boards that people could buy squares for $2.00 and $5.00 so we bought one of each. Mike and I had a great evening sitting with David, Jan, Larry and Sheryl. No one at our table won any money but had a fun time. The New England Patriots won the game 13-3 over the LA Rams. At 10:00 P.M. it was time to head back to the boat for the evening.
