Aquamarina Palm Harbour Marina in Cape Haze, Florida

Day #157: Up at 6:00 A.M. for coffee, grapefruit and sweet treats. Clear and 57 degree morning.  Mike and I prepared the dinghy for departure. At 8:10 A.M. we headed off to Don Pedro State Park. We enjoyed shelling and shark tooth hunting. Very quiet morning on the beach with only a few people. We found sand dollars galore.  At 11:45 A.M. it was time to head back to the boat. At 12:10 P.M. we were back at the boat for lunch aboard. The dinghy was stowed.  The plan for Mike and I for Saturday is to get up and spend the day at Don Pedro State Park so we started to set items aside that will be needed for all day at the beach. At 3:00 P.M. Karen and Ken from "Island Girl" arrived at the "Parrot Bay". At 3:20 P.M. we headed to the water taxi area were we were joined by Bruce/Bev, Ed/Kyle and Scott/Linda. We took the water taxi over to Palm Island to Rum Bay Restaurant for dinner. After dinner we headed to the beach on Palm Island for a short period of time. After the beach we were picked up by the water taxi and were returned to Aquamarina. We said goodbye to Ken and Karen. Back on the boat for blogging and reading.
Osprey on the nest.

Small channel that opens up to a lagoon where the docks are on Don Pedro State Park.

Low tide this morning which leads to the saying "don't boat where the birds walk".
