Aquamarina Palm Harbour Marina in Cape Haze, Florida

Day #158: Up at 6:00 A.M. for coffee, grapefruit and sweet treats. Mike and I prepared the dinghy for departure. At 8:10 A.M. they were off heading for Don Pedro State Park. When we arrived the dock was empty. We unloaded the dinghy as we had all of our equipment for a beach day. At 8:50 A.M. the two of us headed off to hunt for shark teeth and shells. Today was another great day for sand dollars of all different sizes. The beach was Mike and mine until 9:50 A.M. then the people started to arrive. Even with the dock full of boats the beach remained quiet. We spent the whole day walking up and down the beach looking for teeth and shells. It was 82 degrees clear and sunny. At 2:30 P.M. Dad Burdo asked if Mike and I could FaceTime as the family was celebrating our niece, Maria's birthday so we got to sing Happy Birthday. At 2:40 P.M. the two of us packed up our beach gear heading to the dinghy to head back to the boat. At 3:00 P.M. we pulled away from the dock heading towards the Intercoastal Waterway. Once back aboard "Parrot Bay" the two of us put away our beach gear and both headed to the showers. After showers Mike worked on bleaching our sand dollars. I worked on making individual personal pizzas aboard the boat. After clean up from dinner it was time for reading and blogging.
Happy Birthday Maria! Picture was taken while we were on FaceTime from the beach.

Two experimental plans flew over the beach in the afternoon.

We found sand dollars all over the beach.
