Grafton Harbor in Grafton, IL

Day #81: From last night Mike and I played two games of cribbage, we each one a game. We watched the first half of the Illinois versus Penn State football game. We were up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, grapefruit and gingersnaps. Cloudy and 59 degrees this morning very different than what we had two days ago. We have reserved the courtesy car for Sunday morning as we are going to go to Walmart in Jerseyville before leaving Grafton for Alton. We went to the flea market (1/2 flea market and 1/2 bazaar) at the Loading Dock here in Grafton. The Loading Dock has a very large bar area right on the Mississippi River. We headed back to the boat to get ready for Michigan versus Nebraska football game at 11:00 A.M. (CT). Mike made popcorn at 10:30 A.M. (CT). We were able to watch the game on my I-Pad on Fox Sport 1. Michigan won 56-10 over Nebraska. We moved down to the v-berth as there is football on our TV on local stations. The sun came out people here at the marina came out to their boats. There has also been numerous looper boats coming into the marina as well. Plan to just hang out on the boat tonight watching football. At 6:30 P.M. we had a bit of excitement.  A Trojan here in the marina lost a drive shaft and started taking on water. I heard someone say that there was issues with the drive shaft I told Mike that we should go out to see what was happening. When we got up the stairs there was a small boat trying to tow this large Trojan right next to our boat.  It about hit our boat just about the time one of the marina staff was getting a barge around to push the Trojan. Mike got to the bow there was a gentleman already on our boat going to fend off the Trojan. The Trojan was taken to the gas dock here at Grafton Harbor and the divers are getting ready to go down and make repairs. Happy Fall!
We found this in a park on our way to the flea market. It depicts the Illinois River joining the Mississippi River.

Downtown Grafton. Mike and I both thought that Grafton was going to be a bit bigger.

Flea market in Grafton.

Saw this at the flea market. I sent it to Bev from "Baytripper" as we now know that a racoon will choose candy corn over peanuts.

Found this decoration outside of the Loading Dock.

The Loading Dock is huge it held both the flea market and has a large outdoor/inside bar.

All decorated for Fall. The Loading Dock was selling pumpkins.

This lighthouse is at the dock where the car ferry crosses between Grafton and St Charles.

Mike made his purple non-GMO popcorn cooked in coconut oil.

Mike watching Michigan football and eating popcorn.

Beautiful moon this evening at sunset.
