Reef Point Marina in Racine, WI
Day #49: Overnight rain, thunderstorms and strong gust winds. Up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, peach and banana bread. We received a text from Suzanne and Ed about joining them for lunch which we gladly accepted. We decided to go to the Brew House here at the marina. Mike wanted to walk to the boating supply store so we headed that way. We stopped at Dover Flag & Map store which has a huge selection of maps, flags and kites. They also help out the local animal shelter. Today they had a cat by the name Mandy. I enjoyed spending time with Mandy while Mike shopped. After leaving we headed to Racine Riverside Marine, Inc. where Mike was able to get some boat supplies for a couple of boat projects. We met Suzanne and Ed at The Brew House for lunch. We talked about boats, family and Looping. After lunch Suzanne and Ed came to our boat for a tour followed by us touring their boat. We had a great afternoon with our new friends. Mike and I headed back to our boat for blogging and boat project. Mike is working on an outlet that will allow us to change over our outdoor refrigerator from 120V to 12 V without us having to move the refrigerators as they are heavy to move and it will help us when getting ready to get underway.
