Trip Home to Michigan

Day #316: Mike and I were up at 5:00 A.M. preparing for departure. The two of us left the Holiday Inn in Athens, OH at 5:40 A.M. We had a smooth ride through Ohio and it wasn't until Michigan that we ran into two very bad accidents, one being a semi that was north bound that ended up through the median hitting two vehicles on the south bound lanes the second accident was a roll over accident in the south bound lane. Mike and I were very happy when we arrived in Frankenmuth at 11:30 A.M. The two were greeted by Paul B. and his dog Snickers and Irene M. as they pulled into their condos. The two of us quickly emptied out the Dodge Charger putting as much of our gear away and I started working on laundry. Amanda and Tony arrived in Frankenmuth at 1:20 P.M. and the four of us headed up to Davinci's Restaurant for lunch. After lunch the four of us went back to the condo. At 4:30 P.M. Amanda and Tony headed back to the Upper Peninsula. I told Mike that she really wanted to see her parents so I called Mom and Dad Burdo.  Don and Rose had just left their home heading for Frankenmuth to see Mike and I. It was decided that the four of us would meet in Saginaw Township at Levi's Restaurant (this is a popular place for the four of us to get together and have dinner-Mike and I always split a plate of nachos). Mike and I were so glad to see my parents again as we had not seen them since July 3, 2018. The four of us had a great dinner. Mike and I then headed to Home Deport and Staples for a few items that we needed to take back with is to the boat. The two of us then headed back to the condo to work on blogging and condo association business. Mike and I were so glad to see our neighbors Rod and Denisha B. It's great to be home.
Mike and I love this idea of hiding a cell tower, disguising it to look like a Norwegian Pine.
