Day #234: From last evening Mike and I listened to an AGLCA podcast on Tides and Currents. Tom Hale was the presenter. He has written a article on this topic called The Bay's Ups & Downs. Mike and I then headed up to the flying bridge at 8:45 P.M. as a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched Israel's Beresheet robotic lunar lander which is the first private spacecraft to land on the moon and two satellites launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Then it landed. The two of us watched the live feed so we knew when the rocket launched we were able to see the rocket as it arced over Florida. The two of us were up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, grapefruit, banana bread and cookies. The two of us launched the dinghy loading it up for a day at the beach. In the Intercoastal Waterway Mike and I saw an adult dolphin with a calf. We saw our first Roseate Spoonbill. We enjoyed beachcombing from 8:45 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. followed by lunch under the sun umbrella. The two of us went into the ocean where the water has warmed up nicely. We could not have asked for a better day it was sunny, 82 degrees with a light warm wind. We headed back to the marina and before putting our gear away we headed to the pool. Mike and I were joined by Larry from "Camelot". For dinner Mike cooked pork chops on the grill along with baked beans. After dinner it was time for blogging and reading.
