Green Turtle Bay Resort in Grand Rivers, KY
Day #98: Update on "Maggie" from what we are hearing "Maggie" was hit by a tow at night (she had her anchor light on) on the Tennessee River. The tow did take the boat through the Kentucky Lock that is when BoatUS picked up the boat bringing it to Green Turtle Bay Marina. The owner of the sailboat is ok from what we are hearing. We now have Hurricane Michael poised to hit the panhandle of Florida. We will not be impacted directly from the storm but may see impact of the storm surge when we get to the panhandle of Florida, if it causes damage to shoreside facilities and docks. We were up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee and grapefruit. We met Bruce and Bev for breakfast at Dockers a little restaurant here at the marina which is open 7 A.M. to 2 P.M. daily. After breakfast Mike got the grocery buggy down from the flying bridge and the four of us walked up town. We stopped at the Post Office and Village Market & Café for groceries. We got back to the boat at 11:00 A.M. Today should be our last day of 90 degree heat as it is suppose to start cooling down tomorrow with highs only in the 60's on Thursday. At 12:45 we headed to the pool. Bruce and Bev joined us at the pool for the afternoon. We headed back to the boat for showers and roast beef sandwiches for dinner. Bruce, Bev, Mike and I went up town to get dessert. We were picked up and dropped by the golf cart.

We got the buggy out to go grocery shopping today. It was able to carry Bruce, Bev, Mike and my groceries back to the marina.
