Cuba Landing Marina in Waverly, TN to Riverstone Marina in Bath Springs, TN
Day #103: From last evening Michigan beat Wisconsin 38-13. Up at 5:45 A.M. at Cuba Landing Marina it was overcast but no rain. Engines were on at 6:45 A.M. We were underway at 7:00 A.M. At 7:30 A.M. we passed the tow "Crimson White" At 9:00 A.M. we passed Lady Finger Bluff which is limestone and where the river narrowed. At 10:00 A.M. we encountered very heavy rain. At 11:30 A.M. we passed the dredge "George Teague" At 11:50 A.M. I called Steve at Riverstone Marina to let him know that we were one hour from the marina. The rain continued between moderate to heavy. We passed Clifton Marina at 12:26 P.M. this is where we were going to stay but decided that we would go a bit farther today to shorten our day on Monday as we will have a lock tomorrow that we will need to transit. We arrived at Riverstone Marina at 1:00 P.M. Steve and his wife were on the dock to help us with our lines. Today is the last day that the marina will be open as they are closing for the season. Steve and his wife will be heading to the Caribbean tomorrow. Steve made us reservations at Meo Mio's restaurant for dinner at 4:00 P.M. We are now 30 minutes closer to our destination tomorrow. We traveled 46.1 miles today (total of 1408 miles for the trip). The owner of Meo Mio's came to the marina picking us up for dinner. She was just amazed at the fact that we arrived via boat and that we are so far away from home. We had a great meal. The owner returned us back to our boats. Time for Sunday night phone calls.
