Ludington Municipal Marina in Ludington, MI

Day #35: Up at 7:15 A.M. for coffee, grapefruit, cherries and Nutty Dunkers. The winds have improved so about 15 boats left this morning as most had stayed due to the winds the past 2 days. Mike and I went for a walk on the Waterfront Walkway this morning heading to the Biercamp Market for a few items. We know that the grocery stores in Wisconsin are a few miles away from the marinas. Having a few extra food items will allow us to get to the marina without having to re-provision right away when we arrive. Back at the boat we paid for another night at the Ludington Municipal Marina. We did a few boat jobs. I emailed both Manitowoc Marina and Harbor Centre Marina in Sheboygan, WI giving them an update on our status. Harbor Centre Marina wrote back within a minute of me sending my e-mail answering my question regarding address that we could use to have our mail sent to us while we were in Sheboygan. We did hear back from Manitowoc Marina they are expecting us and have the Wisconsin charts that they ordered for us. Up to the flying bridge for happy hour. Becky from "True North" stopped by to see if we needed to go to Meijer's shopping but we told her that we were all set. Mike met Mark and Mary from "Catalyst" they are Looping on a catamaran and live in Stuart, Florida. Mike and I are planning on leaving in the morning for Manitowoc which will be one of seven open water crossings that we will experience while Looping. After our open water crossing to Manitowoc the next will be across the panhandle of Florida a few months from now. We thought that we were going to have sun today but have had more clouds with a bit of rain this afternoon. Time for some relaxation so Mike is playing the guitar while I'm blogging.
Mike and I ran into this little guy while walking this morning. Never saw a slug before crawling
around on the pavement.

Ludington is very proud of its art. This statue is in one of the parks.

Our last sunset in Ludington.
