Aquamarina Palm Harbour Marina in Cape Haze, Florida
Day #220: Up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, banana bread, grapefruit and cookies. Mike and I launched the dingy heading to Don Pedro State Park arriving at 8:50 A.M. for shelling and shark teeth hunting. At 10:10 A.M. Kyle texted asking Mike and I if we had an interest in heading to Cabbage Key. We gladly accepted the offer heading back to the marina. At 11:15 A.M. Mike and I were ready for the excursion. Kyle and Ed had invited his cousin Doug, Doug's wife Jan and their daughter Mindy. The seven of us headed out of the marina stopping at the fuel dock before heading out. The weather was sunny, mid-70's with no winds. We had lunch at Cabbage Key Restaurant. After lunch the seven of enjoyed the looking around Cabbage Key at the tortoises and shopping. On the ride back Ed took the group out into the Gulf of Mexico at the Boca Grande pass. We were all entertained by the dolphins jumping in "It's OK 2" wake. When we returned to the marina David from "Optimystique" helped with docking "It's OK 2". As the sun was setting Ed, Kyle, Doug, Jan, Mindy, David, Jan, Mike and I had docktails on "It's OK 2". At 7:15 P.M. Mike and I headed back to the "Parrot Bay" for the evening.
