Aquamarina Palm Harbour Marina in Cape Haze, Florida

Day #217: Up at 6:00 A.M. to start three loads of laundry. After laundry Mike and I had coffee, grapefruit, mini lemon muffins and cookies. Next it was time to complete laundry and paperwork. John B. came to get our canvas from the flying bridge that he was helping to fix. The two of us headed to the post office to drop off a few letters. Mike and I headed to the pool after lunch. The weather was sunny and 72 degrees. We read books and swam in the pool to keep cool. At 2:30 P.M. I headed to the boat to prepare an appetizer tray and load the cooler. At 3:00 P.M. Jan and David arrived at the pool area and the four of us headed to the cabana for docktails. We sat down with Jan's I-Pad and Mike's I-Pad along with note cards and writing utensils. Jan and David started at Cape Haze Florida to the Trent Severn Waterway in Canada discussing the navigation, marinas and sightseeing that they had done on their Great Loop Adventure. Mike and I are extremely appreciative of David and Jan for sharing all of their knowledge of The Great Loop. At 6:15 P.M. the four of us headed back to our respective boats for the evening. It was time for blogging and reading.
