Aquamarina Palm Harbour Marina in Cape Haze, Florida
Day #232: From last evening Mike beat me at cribbage. The smell of a brush fire throughout the night so bad that I had to shut off the fan. The two of us were up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, grapefruit, banana bread and cookies. Mike waiting for Josh to return our alternator so during that time we worked on jobs on the boat. Mike continued to work on the French whipping on the steering wheel. We did some reading on the flying bridge during which time there was a dolphin and calf in the marina basin hunting for fish. After lunch we headed to the pool for the afternoon it was sunny, breezy and 82 degrees. At 12:30 P.M. Mike talked to Renee at the service department. The "Parrot Bay's" alternator was sent to a machine shop with no word at that time on when it would be returned. At 4:00 P.M. it was time for us to head back to the boat to get ready for dinner. No word on the alternator repair. At 5:30 P.M. Kyle, David, Jan, Mike and I headed to
South Beach Restaurant at Boca Grande. The restaurant is on the beach where there is a spectacular view of the sunset. The five of us had a great dinner while watching the sunset. At 7:45 P.M. our group returned to the marina heading back to our boats. It was time for Mike and I to blog and read.
