Aquamarina Palm Harbour Marina in Cape Haze, Florida

Day #189: From last evening Mike and I were able to stay up to watch the first half of the National Championship Game in the end Clemson Tigers beat Alabama Crimson Tide 44-16. Up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, mini blueberry muffins, cookies and honey bell oranges. We walked 3.56 miles. At 10:45 A.M. Mike and I headed over to "It's OK 2" Ed and Kyle had invited Jan, David, Mike and I to go to Cabbage Key for lunch. The six headed out for a beautiful day on the water temperatures in the 70's, sunny and no wind. There were multiple dolphins with one surfing in our wake for miles. Cabbage Key has a restaurant, inn and rental cottages. There are no cars and no paved roads. We were helped into dock then disembarked the boat heading to the restaurant for lunch. When you walk in all you see are dollar bills covering the whole inside of the restaurant. The money is donated to charities when they fall off the walls. The restaurant serves nothing fried with your meal you have a choice of coleslaw or potato salad. After lunch we were able to see the Gopher tortoises that were out on the lawn. Mike and I headed to the gift shop to buy a couple of shirts. After shopping it was time to head back to the marina and again the weather was just beautiful. The group returned to the marina at 4:45 P.M. Mike and I went back to the boat to get ready for movie night at 6:30 P.M. at the marina Captain Ron is playing on the TV in the cabana at the marina.
