Aquamarina Palm Harbour Marina in Cape Haze, Florida

Day #191: From last night Mike and I finished watching the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee and honey bell oranges. At 8:15 A.M. we met up with Ed and Kyle all four went to breakfast at Good Times Diner in Englewood. After breakfast the four of us went to the Englewood Farmer's Market. After all four headed back to the marina. At 10:50 A.M. Mike and I headed out to Publix with the grocery buggy to buy some groceries and take the opportunity to get our daily walk. We walked 3.86 miles. After groceries were put away it was time for a small lunch onboard. Mike and I then headed up to the flying bridge for reading. Bruce and Bev drove by in their dinghy before heading out for a ride in the intercoastal waterway. On their way back in Bruce and Bev pointed out there were two manatees in the marina basin. Bruce and Bev headed back to their boat and the manatees head out of the marina. Mike talked to our son Mark. Just as Mike was finishing up talking to Mark he pointed at the water where the cow and calf manatees had returned to the basin. For one hour we watched the cow and calf in the marina basin the cow was nursing the calf. Both just floated slowly in the basin posing for lots of pictures. Finally the cow and calf headed out of the marina. Mike and I headed back to the flying bridge for happy hour. At 5:00 P.M. the temperature started to drop and wind picked up. Mike and I headed into the boat for dinner of sandwiches and potato salad. After dinner it was time for blogging and movie watching.
