Day #171: Very windy during the early morning hours. Mike and I were up numerous times checking on the boat and adding lines to try to keep the boat from hitting the pilings. Up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, grapefruit and sweet treats. Winds very strong continuing to make the boat buck and hit the pilings. Mike and I headed to Publix for last minute groceries for Christmas. We made back to the boat with the groceries as it started to rain with increase in the winds. At 10:00 A.M. Mike took the rental car back to Enterprise getting a ride back to the marina. Spotty rain continued into the afternoon when it rained the winds would gust in the 30's making the boat buck. Mike and I put the rest of the canvas up on the flying bridge hoping to help protect the flying bridge canvas and decrease in the noise. At 12:30 P.M. we watched college football bowl game Toledo and Florida International University. Mike made popcorn at 3:30 P.M. in preparation for the Western Michigan versus BYU. As the spotty rain continued the winds continued to increase as it started to rain. At 7:00 P.M. winds seem to be decreasing some but at times there are stronger gusts. Time for blogging and quiet time on "Parrot Bay".
