Aquamarina Palm Harbour Marina in Cape Haze, Florida

Day #162: Up at 6:30 A.M. for coffee, grapefruit and sweet treats. Clear and 47 degrees this morning  the heater was needed to warm the cabin. We walked to ACE Hardware, post office and Publix. After returning to the boat Mike calked a crack that he had found that had resulted in water coming into the boat. Of course, those cracks are never in a convenient spot hence he had to crawl into a very tight space. Mike then worked on replacing teak plugs on the outside decks. At 12:30 the dinghy was prepared for launch. At 1:00 P.M. Mike and I headed out to do some exploring. We headed out to Stump Pass State Park in the middle of Lemon Bay where two dolphins were playing. The two of us took Lemon Bay past Manasota Key. We were so glad to see the places that we always see from the shore now being able to see them from the water. The two of us proceeded from Lemon Bay back to the Intercostal Waterway heading back to Aquamarina Palm Harbour. The total trip in the dinghy was 12.2 miles. After putting the dinghy back on the davits and cleaning up from the trip we had happy hour on the back deck of the boat. Ed and Kyle from "It's OK 2" stopped by as they were out for a walk so they enjoyed happy hour as well on "Parrot Bay". For dinner Mike and I had leftovers onboard the boat. The two of us watched a live stream of Maria's (Mike and my niece) last Christmas church program in her years at St. Peter's school. After the church broadcast, it was time for reading and relaxation aboard the "Parrot Bay".
