Grafton Harbor in Grafton, IL

Day #76: Up at 6:45 A.M. for coffee, grapefruit, gingersnaps/maple cookies. At 8:40 A.M. we went to talk to Joe the owner of the marina as we were in need of cable line. Joe gave us the name of a company,  John Sakach Co. in Granite City, IL. We signed up for the courtesy van. Mike tried to call Terry at John Sakach Co. but every time that he started talking the call would drop. Mike and I got into the courtesy van trying to get a better signal finally we were able to text and send pictures. Terry told us that they could help us and to come on down to Granite City. I called Bev and Bruce they were willing to hop in the van for an adventure. Mike and I picked them up at the marina. We had no air conditioning so with the windows down we headed south for the 40 minute drive. When we got to John Sakach Co. Terry had gotten two gentleman set up to help us along with all of the materials. We were in and out in 30 minutes. I found a Walmart 5 minutes south of John Sakach Co. so the four of us stopped to get groceries. As we were checking out Mike's phone rang it was the marina wondering when we were going to get back with the van. Mike told them 30 minutes we hopped in heading back to Grafton stopping to fill up the van with gas. We got back around 12:30 P.M. we headed to the boat for lunch. At 1:30 P.M. we headed to the pool as it was sunny, hot and humid. Bev and Bruce joined shortly thereafter along with other Loopers. We stayed at the pool until 5:30 P.M. we had talked with Bev and Bruce about going for ice cream after dinner, they were in agreement. Mike and I had grilled cheese and ham sandwiches on the boat dinner. At 6:30 P.M. we headed to get ice cream in downtown Grafton. We walked back to the marina. Time for blogging and reading.
