Harbor Centre Marina, Sheboygan, WI

Day #40: Up at 2:00 A.M. to watch the meteor shower. Mike and I both saw a few shooting stars but it slowed up so we went back to bed at 2:30 A.M. Up at 7:00 A.M. for coffee, peach and ginger snaps. Mike saw "Long Story" heading out with "Destination???" behind them heading to Port Washington. Mike and I went for a 4.92 mile walk along the boardwalk and out to the green day marker on the other side of the channel. Mike and I spent about 1 1/2 hours working on our next stops. The plan is Port Washington, Racine, Waukegan and Chicago. I have contacted Port Washington Marina as they are the next marina that we will be going to after Sheboygan. I have contacted Waukegan as they are the marina that we will want to stay at during the Labor Day Holiday. We have made a reservation at DuSable Harbor in Chicago, IL for 9/4 until 9/6. We are already confirmed at DuSable for just after Labor Day (then the fun of the rivers will begin). At 12:00 P.M. Mike and I headed to the pool as it was a sunny, warm and humid day. We had a great afternoon in the pool. At 5:00 P.M. we headed back to the boat for a cocktail before dinner. I checked my e-mail and I received an e-mail from Waukegan Harbor & Marina and they told us that they will have room for us on Labor Day weekend so we do not need a reservation. I also received another e-mail from DuSable Harbor and we were given our slip assignment for our time in Chicago. Mike and I had leftover fish with Minute Rice for dinner. Mike made his Sunday night phone calls to family. Time for some relax this evening.
